The Craftsman

Eddy Santana

The Craftsman Who Brings Legends to Life

In the heart of Celuk, Bali’s legendary silver village, Eddy Santana plays a role few see — yet none can miss.

With more than 20 years of experience in Bali’s silver industry, Eddy is not a traditional maker. He doesn’t sit at the workbench or hammer metal by hand. Instead, he is the quiet orchestrator, the project manager, and the trusted fixerwho ensures that every Mythical Figures of Bali™ piece meets the highest standard of craft and meaning.

Born Into Craftsmanship

Eddy is the son of a Celuk silversmith. He grew up surrounded by molten metal, carved wax, and sacred stories. The tools of the trade, the rhythm of the fire, and the village’s deep respect for craft are part of his DNA.

But rather than follow the expected path, Eddy carved out his own: building a network of exceptional artisans, carefully selected over years of collaboration. Today, he works behind the scenes — overseeing casting, quality control, and final assembly.

Precision Through People

Every Mythical Figures of Bali™ bracelet passes through Eddy’s hands. From organizing rubber mold creation and lost-wax casting to coordinating the laser engraving, PU coating, and final bracelet assembly, it’s Eddy’s knowledge and precision that keep the process flowing.

He doesn’t work in a single workshop. He works across Celuk, choosing the right hands for the right task — and ensuring the spirit of the design is never lost in translation.

Assembly With Intention

Eddy also personally assembles every bracelet. The final step — combining 925 sterling silver, recycled leather, and the adjustable stainless steel clasp — is done with the same attention and care as the casting itself.

Because in Eddy’s view, it’s not just about finishing a product. It’s about honoring the myth and the people behind it.

More Than a Craftsman

In every figure — from Barong to Dwarapala — Eddy’s role is felt, even if it’s not seen. He is the bridge between vision and tradition, between digital files and ancestral hands.

Without Eddy, the legends would remain in the sketchbook.
With him, they take shape — in silver, story, and soul.
