SOUVENIR · FROM THE FRENCH “TO REMEMBER”

“You do not simply leave Bali.
Something of Bali leaves with you.”

Mythical Figures of Bali™ transforms that memory into a small object with meaning: designed with precision, cast in silver and finished by hand.

FIVE FIGURES · FIVE MEANINGS

Which story
will you carry?

Every pendant represents a quality found in Bali’s living mythology. Each piece is deliberately small—approximately 2 cm high—yet dense with sculpted detail.

Dewi Sri silver pendant02

Abundance

Dewi Sri

Goddess of rice, fertility and life; honoured as the giver of nourishment, prosperity and harmony.

Hanoman silver pendant03

Courage

Hanoman

The devoted white monkey warrior of the Ramayana, an enduring symbol of loyalty and fearless action.

Dwarapala silver pendant04

Guardianship

Dwarapala

The fierce guardian placed at sacred entrances to protect temples, homes and all who pass within.

Lion silver pendant05

Strength

Lion

A figure of courage, majesty and leadership—the silent strength found throughout Balinese temple art.

SMALL IN SCALE · RICH IN MEANING

Made to be worn.
Made to be remembered.

The pendant rests quietly close to the body. It does not imitate ceremonial sculpture at full scale; it distils the figure into a personal object—recognisable, tactile and unmistakably connected to Bali.

FROM DIGITAL SCULPTURE TO HUMAN HAND

Made across
two worlds.

The process begins in Belgium and ends in Celuk, Bali’s historic silversmithing village. Technology resolves the complex form. Balinese hands give it material, character and life.

01

Sculpted digitally

Each figure is modelled in high definition, front and reverse, before a precision master is produced.

02

Formed by hand

The master enters the lost-wax casting process, where skilled hands prepare and refine every small detail.

03

Finished in Celuk

Every casting is individually cleaned, polished and inspected. The slight human differences are part of its authenticity.

These are real working images from the development and finishing of the collection—not staged advertising.

EDDY SANTANA · CELUK, BALI

A village shaped
by silver.

Eddy Santana grew up in a Celuk silversmith family. For more than twenty years he has worked inside Bali’s silver tradition, connecting specialist artisans and guiding each figure through casting and finishing.

This is not anonymous production. It is a collaboration between a designer, a silversmith and the accumulated knowledge of a village.

SIGNED IN SILVER

Jean-Pierre Bobbaers, founder and designer

THE DESIGNER’S STORY

Jean-Pierre
“JP” Bobbaers

A Belgian designer who fell in love with Ubud—and wanted to create a souvenir worthy of remembering it.

JP is an interior architect, industrial designer and brand consultant. Since founding IMAGINIF in Brussels in 1989, his work has moved between spaces, objects, retail and storytelling.

After years of returning to Bali, he searched for something visitors could take home that was neither a generic trinket nor simply jewellery. The answer was an object that carried the island’s mythology, craftsmanship and emotional memory together.

He sculpted the five figures digitally, then brought the designs to Celuk. Mythical Figures of Bali™ was born from that meeting: European precision, Balinese knowledge and the simple human wish to remember.
